Other Light Bulb

The light bulb is a technology over 130 years old.They have two metal contacts at the base which connect to metal to a thin metal filament. The filament is held up by a glass mount. The wires and the filament are housed in a glass bulb, which is filled with an inert gas. When the bulb is hooked up to a power supply, an electric current flows through the contactand the filiment. The filiment heats up and burns and that is how a light bulb works.
